TI 16U Land Runner-Up at 2005 Nationals in Colorado
The time had finally arrived. A long season that began with tryouts last August was coming to conclusion at the 2005 USA Hockey National finals in Colorado! The Team Illinois 16U girls hockey team was selected at the tryouts based upon speed, experience and skill to create a team that could

16U Play 6 On Their Way To The Polar Bear Tournament Championship Game
The Team Illinois 16U team traveled to Connecticut to participate in the
annual Polar Bear tournament. This tournament assembled over 220 of the top
female hockey teams throughout the US and Canada. read more...
14U#1's Play Tough in Connecticut
The 14U#1 team finished off the year at the Annual Polar Bear Tournament
held in Connecticut over the Holiday break. The team posted an overall
record for the month of 5-6-1 and a season record of 23-26-3. The team
remains atop the standings in the Midwest Elite League with a record of

Good December Showing for 19U
The 19U's opened December with an exhibition game against Team Glacier.
Skating to a 3-3 tie, TI goals came from Ingrid Klockars assisted by Amanda
Auger and Nicole Sassorossi. Down 3-1 going into the third period TI scored
at the 14:40 mark on a goal from Anna Baumgarten assisted by Rachel
Brobst. And in a heart stopping finish Kelsey Hopkins scored with 41 seconds left in
the game on an assist from Anna to tie the game up. read more...
10U Keep Pace with League Teams
The girls had a short break in between the Thanksgiving holidays, which
might have carried over into their first game against the Glenview Stars
whom they had beaten in the NIHL tiering round. This time the girls had
trouble finding their skating legs. read more...
14U#2 Focus on Skills
The 14U#2 team had a relatively light game schedule for December, finishing
off the 2004 year with a 5-5-1 record bringing their game summary for the
season to a very respectable 12-13-2. read more...
10U's are Champions at Wisconsin Tournament
On November 13th Team Illinois 10U's traveled to Menomonie, WI to play in
the 10U Girls Tournament for the weekend. The girls not only cashed in on
goals but they also ate their way into the hot dog record book! read

19U's on Track for the Season
November brought several changes to the U19's. On the negative side TI lost
Elaine McKenna for the season with a shoulder injury and Kellye Stefanski
has been on the mend. On the positive side TI moved in to the new Hoffman
Estates practice facility and Sherah Baumgarten joined the 19U's to fill
out the goalie position caused by the loss of Elaine. The U19's finished out
October with an impressive 2-1 victory over the PowerAde from Milwaukee.

19U's Kick Off 04-05 Season
After opening the season at the Stevens Point Tournament and three
individual games against the Chill, CYA and Wild, the TI 19U's traveled to
Lansing for the first MWEHL showcase weekend of the year. The 19U girls
and parents also made time to participate in the "Ron Santo JUVENILE
DIABETES Research Foundation Walk" on Sunday October 3rd. read more...
16U's Compete in Prestigious Assabet Tournament
The Team Illinois 16U team traveled to Boston over the Halloween weekend to
play in the Assabet tournament. Not only did they have to compete with some
of the best 16U and 19U teams from across the country, they had to contend
with the Boston Red Sox World Series travelers. read more...
14U#1's Off To A Good Start
The 14U#1 team is off to an impressive start during the early season. The
14's, competing both in the MWEHL and NIHL Bantam Silver Division, will
endure a nearly 70 game schedule this season. The 14U's have already

The 14U#2 team began its regular season of competition in both the NWHL

12U's Place 2nd in Toronto Tournament
The 12U's traveled north to Toronto in mid-October 2004 to compete in the
Telus Solid Goal Early Bird Tournament and came back with second place
plaques. In their first competition on Friday afternoon, the girls faced off
against Scarborough, a suburb of Toronto. read more...
10U's Show Off Their Skills
Team Illinois 10U team completed the 2004-2005 season opening round of
NIHL with a 4-3-1 record against the boys and finished on a 2 game winning

16U Tally Wins to Start Season (9/11/04; 9/12/04; 9/19/04)
The 16U team played the Marist High School JV team twice and the
Powerade women's team from Wisconsin to diligently put their
practice sessions into action. read

14U#1 Play in Ohio Tourney Championship Game to Start
Season (9/24/04 - 9/26/04)
The 14U's began the 2004-2005 season with a strong showing as
they traveled to Cleveland Ohio the weekend of September 24 - 26, to
participate in the IGNITE THE ICE Tournament sponsored by the Ohio
Flames. The 14's took second place in the early bird
tournament. The early season tune up pitted TI against MWEHL
teams VICTORY HONDA and the WISCONSIN WILD as well as other elite

The Team Illinois 16U team took to the ice on October 2, 2004 to
face off against the Chill 16U girls hockey team from Orland Park.

Midwest Elite Sends Record Number of Girls to D-I, D-III College Programs
The Midwest Elite Hockey League Girls Division announced today that a
record 64 seniors from its 2003-04 teams have committed to Division I and Division
III college hockey programs throughout the U.S. After a successful third
season, in which the league's 19U teams made up half of the field at the
2003-04 USA Hockey National Tournament, the league's announcement brings to
more than 160 the number of players sent by its Girls Division to the nation's best women's hockey programs.
